Forward Living was born from a clear realization: Shreveport and Bossier City needed a higher standard of recovery housing—one focused not on restriction, but on restoration. We saw a critical gap for a sanctuary that prioritizes dignity over shame, offering a non-judgmental pathway for men to reclaim their lives. Our mission is to provide a launchpad where residents can regain their independence quickly and confidently, creating a stable foundation for the future without the stigma often attached to recovery.
To support this transition, we provide an ecosystem that balances intentional structure with essential autonomy. Our homes are built on a foundation of clear house standards and refined shared spaces that foster a brotherhood of peers with shared goals, alongside private areas for personal reflection. Crucially, we believe true independence requires mobility. That is why our homes are strategically located near shopping centers and public transit, and we equip residents with the tools for independent travel. This ensures you have the freedom to navigate your daily life, work, and personal growth on your own terms.

Our flagship residence in South Shreveport establishes the standard for our living environment, with active expansion plans into Bossier City scheduled for 2026. Ideally situated near shopping centers and major bus stops to ensure ease of travel, this home features a bright, open floor layout with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
